Ozone Layer

The Ozone layer is made up of O3. The ozone layer will absorbs the Ultra violet rays, which is harmful to humans. It absorbs nearly 90-99% of UV rays. THe ozone layer was discovered in the year 1913. Recent researches prove that there is huge depletion in the ozone layer. The ozone layer will gets depleted because radical catalysts, hydroxyl, nitrogen oxide. If this ozone layer is completely depleted, then the UV rays from the sun will be directly transmitted into the earth and there will be no possibility of living.
